This Privacy Policy explains how EtsyOptima ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and AI-powered Etsy SEO tools (the "Service"). EtsyOptima is independent of Etsy, Inc.

1. Information we collect

• Account data: your name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up.
• Shop details you provide: your Etsy shop URL and description (optional), used to tailor AI suggestions.
• Content you submit: product titles, descriptions, keywords, and images you paste or upload for optimization.
• Billing data: processed by our payment provider — we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: basic analytics (pages visited, feature usage) to improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the Service (generate titles, tags, descriptions, and research).
• To manage your account, subscription, and support requests.
• To improve our features and fix problems.
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, billing). We do not sell your data.

3. AI processing

Inputs you submit for optimization are sent to our AI providers (such as Google Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic) solely to generate your results. We do not use your private inputs to train external AI models.

4. Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies for authentication and privacy-respecting analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

5. Third-party services

We rely on trusted processors to run the Service, including: Supabase (database & authentication), our payment provider (subscriptions & billing), AI providers (content generation), Resend (transactional email), and hCaptcha (bot protection). Each processes data only as needed to deliver its function.

6. Data retention

Optimization history is retained for a limited window (currently 48 hours) so you can copy results back to Etsy. Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after cancellation, then deleted or anonymized.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also delete your account, which removes your profile and associated data.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, row-level security on our database, and least-privilege access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data and respond promptly to any incident.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
